These terms and conditions govern all services provided by iFix Mildura including device repairs, pre-owned iPhone sales, mail-in repairs, warranty claims, and the iFix Mildura Membership Program. By using our services or joining our membership program you agree to these terms in full.

1. Data & Privacy

We strongly recommend backing up your device to iCloud or a computer before sending it in. iFix Mildura takes no responsibility for any loss of data during the repair process. We will never intentionally access, reset, or remove any personal information from your device. However, if your device arrives powered off, unresponsive, or fails to turn on during or after repair, we cannot be held responsible for any data that cannot be recovered.

2. Warranty

All repairs come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects and component faults. This warranty does not cover damage caused by drops, impacts, liquid exposure, unauthorised repairs, or misuse after the repair has been completed.

3. Water & Liquid Damage

iPhones are not waterproof following a repair. Screen, battery, and back glass repairs may affect the device's original water resistance rating. Do not intentionally expose your repaired device to water, rain, or any liquids. iFix Mildura accepts no responsibility for liquid damage that occurs after a repair.

4. Battery Care

Always charge your iPhone using genuine Apple cables or high-quality certified cables. Avoid cheap or uncertified chargers. Do not leave your device in extreme heat such as a parked car, direct sunlight, or near heat sources — lithium batteries are sensitive to high temperatures and this may void your warranty.

5. Scope of Repair

Our service covers only the specific repair selected at the time of booking. We are not responsible for any pre-existing faults, unrelated issues, or additional damage discovered after the repair. If a device is sent in for a battery replacement but has underlying faults causing it not to power on, we will contact you — however we cannot be held responsible for issues beyond the selected repair.

6. Device Condition on Arrival

If your device arrives with damage beyond what was declared at booking — including cracked frames, liquid damage, or additional faults — we reserve the right to contact you with a revised quote or return the device unrepaired.

7. Shipping & Packaging

You are responsible for packaging your device safely for transit to us. iFix Mildura is not responsible for damage caused during inbound shipping. Return shipping is fully tracked and provided by us at no cost.

8. Warranty Claims & Returns

If you experience a fault covered under warranty, please visit our Warranty Return page to lodge a claim. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

9. Refunds

Refunds are only offered where iFix Mildura determines the original fault was not resolved by the repair, or where a repair cannot be completed. Any installed parts will be removed and a full refund issued. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or issues unrelated to the selected repair.

10. AI-Generated Quotes (Windows Laptop Repairs)

For Windows Laptop screen and battery repairs, pricing is generated automatically using artificial intelligence based on current market part costs. By proceeding with a booking based on an AI-generated quote, you acknowledge and agree to the following: AI-generated prices are estimates based on available market data at the time of your booking and may vary from the final repair cost. In cases where the actual part cost is higher than the AI-generated quote, iFix Mildura will contact you with a revised quote before proceeding with any repair work. You are under no obligation to accept a revised quote. If you choose not to proceed after receiving a revised quote, iFix Mildura will issue a full refund — no questions asked. iFix Mildura will never proceed with a repair that exceeds the original quoted price without your explicit approval. Refunds for declined revised quotes will be processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method.

11. Turnaround Times

Estimated repair times are a guide only and may vary. We will keep you updated via email throughout the process.

12. Warranty Policy

12.1 All repairs carried out by iFix Mildura are covered by a 12-month warranty against faults directly related to the original repair only. 12.2 iFix Mildura repairs only the specific component selected at the time of booking. Warranty does not cover faults unrelated to the selected repair, including but not limited to reception issues, microphone faults, speaker faults, camera faults or any other component not listed in the original booking. These are considered pre-existing or unrelated faults. If an unrelated fault is identified, iFix Mildura is happy to provide a separate repair quote at no obligation. 12.3 Repair warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, corrosion, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by third-party repairs performed after the device left iFix Mildura. 12.4 If iFix Mildura is unable to repair the original selected fault under warranty, a full refund of that repair cost only will be issued. 12.5 All pre-owned iPhones sold by iFix Mildura are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing and hardware faults. 12.6 Pre-Owned iPhone Warranty Conditions: The 12-month warranty on pre-owned iPhones is immediately void if the device has been physically damaged or has a cracked screen after purchase, has been exposed to liquid or water damage after purchase, or has been repaired or tampered with by a third party after purchase from iFix Mildura. iFix Mildura does not offer refunds on pre-owned iPhones. In the event of a valid warranty claim, the device will be replaced with another working model of the same or equivalent specification. iFix Mildura is not responsible for any loss of data, photos, contacts, messages or personal information. Customers are strongly advised to back up all data to iCloud or another backup service before sending their device. Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage or misuse. 12.7 To lodge a warranty claim visit ifixmildura.com.au/warranty.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, iFix Mildura's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iFix Mildura's total liability to you in connection with any repair, order or service is limited to the amount paid by you for that specific repair or order. iFix Mildura is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, loss of income or loss of profits arising from or in connection with our services.

15. Shipping and Transit

iFix Mildura is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to devices during transit to or from our repair centre. We strongly recommend that customers use appropriate packaging to protect their device. Australia Post and our shipping providers have their own insurance and liability policies. If you are concerned about transit risk we recommend enquiring about parcel insurance at your local Australia Post outlet before sending your device.

16. Right to Refuse Service

iFix Mildura reserves the right to refuse, cancel or discontinue any repair or service at our discretion. If we are unable to proceed with a repair after payment has been made we will issue a full refund of the amount paid. We also reserve the right to return a device unrepaired if upon inspection we determine the repair is not feasible or safe to complete.

17. Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. In the event of a dispute arising from our services, we encourage you to contact us first at repairs@ifixmildura.com.au to resolve the matter. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.

18. Force Majeure

iFix Mildura is not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to natural disasters, supplier delays, acts of government, pandemics, or disruptions to postal or courier services. In such circumstances we will contact you as soon as possible and work to resolve the situation.

19. Agreement

By submitting a booking or order through ifixmildura.com.au you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.

20. iFix Mildura Membership Program

20.1 Eligibility — Age requirement. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase, hold, or maintain an iFix Mildura membership. By joining, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, reside in Australia, and are legally capable of entering into this agreement. 20.2 Misrepresentation of age. If you provide false or misleading information regarding your age in order to obtain a membership, iFix Mildura reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your membership without refund. Any such conduct may constitute fraud and you accept full responsibility for any resulting legal or financial consequences. 20.3 Membership tiers and pricing. Membership is available in four tiers: Club ($3.99/month), Device ($7.99/month), VIP ($14.99/month) and Family ($34.99/month). Prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST. iFix Mildura reserves the right to change membership pricing with 30 days notice to existing members. Annual billing options are available at a discount as displayed at the time of joining. 20.4 Billing and payment. Membership fees are billed automatically on a recurring basis via Stripe. By joining you authorise iFix Mildura to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis. A tax invoice will be issued for each payment. You are responsible for ensuring your payment details remain current. 20.5 Activation period. Repair discounts and accessory entitlements activate 30 days after your membership join date. Complimentary promotional entries into the monthly member giveaway are active from day one. The free accessory entitlement (VIP and Family tiers) activates on the first day of your third calendar month of membership. 20.6 Cancellation by member. You may cancel your membership at any time through your member portal. Upon cancellation your membership and all associated benefits remain active until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for the current billing period. iFix Mildura does not offer pro-rata refunds for unused days in any billing period. 20.7 Cancellation by iFix Mildura. iFix Mildura reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership immediately and without refund where a member has breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, abused membership benefits, or behaved in a manner that is threatening, abusive or inappropriate toward iFix Mildura staff or other members. 20.8 Tier upgrades. Members may upgrade their membership tier at any time through their member portal. Upon upgrading the new tier takes effect immediately and the member is charged the new price on the day of upgrade. The previous plan is cancelled immediately with no refund for unused days. Higher tier benefits including additional complimentary promotional entries are active from the moment of upgrade. 20.9 Tier downgrades. Members may downgrade their membership tier through the cancellation save flow in their member portal. Upon downgrading the new lower tier price applies from the next billing date. Higher tier entitlements are removed immediately upon downgrade. 20.10 Repair discounts. Repair discounts are available to active members with activated benefits (after the 30-day activation period). Discounts apply to the registered device on the membership account and are subject to an annual limit per tier (Club: 2 per year, Device: 3 per year, VIP: 4 per year, Family: 5 per year). The annual limit resets on the anniversary of the member's join date. Repair discounts are applied in-store only and are subject to a maximum dollar cap per repair (Club: $25, Device: $40, VIP: $55, Family: $70). Repair discounts cannot be combined with other promotional codes — the higher discount applies. 20.11 Registered devices. Members may register devices to their membership account (Club and Device: 1 device, VIP: 1 device, Family: up to 4 devices). Registered devices are subject to a 90-day lock period from the date of registration. Devices may not be changed within the 90-day lock period except with admin approval. Repair discounts apply only to registered devices. 20.12 Accessory entitlements. Accessory entitlements are redeemable in-store at iFix Mildura only and are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Entitlements are subject to stock availability. Unused entitlements at the end of a billing period are forfeited and do not carry over. 20.13 Referral program. Members receive a unique referral code upon joining. When a new member joins using your referral code both parties receive bonus complimentary promotional entries for that calendar month. Referral bonuses are credited for the month in which the new member joins and do not carry over to subsequent months. iFix Mildura reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time. 20.14 Monthly member giveaway — eligibility. All active members receive complimentary promotional entries from day one of membership regardless of the activation period. The number of complimentary promotional entries per month is determined by membership tier (Club: 1, Device: 5, VIP: 10, Family: 20) plus any referral bonus entries earned that month. Complimentary promotional entries reset on the first day of each calendar month. Members must have an active membership at the time of the giveaway reveal to be eligible to win. 20.15 Monthly member giveaway — conduct. The monthly member giveaway winner is selected by iFix Mildura using an automated cryptographically secure random selection process that runs independently at the end of each calendar month. The winner selection is fully automated and completed before any public announcement or reveal. The subsequent winner reveal is a presentation of the pre-selected result only and does not influence or determine the outcome. iFix Mildura reserves the right to change the giveaway date with reasonable notice to members. 20.16 Prize notification and collection. Winners are notified by email to the address registered on their membership account. Winners must respond within 30 days of notification. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 30 days a redraw will be conducted. Prizes must be collected in-store at iFix Mildura, 7/840 Fifteenth Street, Mildura VIC 3500, or delivered by arrangement. Winners must provide valid government-issued photo identification before receiving their prize. 20.17 Prize procurement and brand disclaimer. All prizes are purchased independently by iFix Mildura Pty Ltd using its own funds. The monthly member giveaway is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any prize manufacturer, retailer, or brand including but not limited to Apple Inc, Samsung Electronics, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft Corporation, Nintendo, Hisense, JB Hi-Fi Group, or BP Australia Pty Ltd. All brand names and product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive purposes to identify the prize offered. 20.18 Prize availability and model substitution. If the specific prize model advertised is not available for purchase at the time of the giveaway due to discontinuation, supply shortage, or any other reason beyond iFix Mildura's reasonable control — iFix Mildura will substitute the prize with the same or equivalent model of equal or greater retail value. Where a direct equivalent is not available a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value will be offered. The winner will be notified of any substitution prior to prize fulfilment. No cash alternative will be offered in lieu of substitution. 20.19 Prize images disclaimer. Product images used to represent monthly prizes are for illustrative purposes only. Actual prize delivered may vary slightly in colour, configuration or packaging from the image shown but will be of equal or greater retail value. 20.20 Winner age requirement. Winners must be 18 years of age or older. A prize cannot be claimed by anyone under 18. iFix Mildura reserves the right to request proof of age before releasing any prize. 20.21 Giveaway disputes. The decision of iFix Mildura regarding the conduct of the monthly member giveaway and the identity of the winner is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding giveaway results. 20.22 Winner verification. Winners must provide valid Australian government-issued photo identification before receiving their prize. iFix Mildura reserves the right to verify the identity of any winner and to disqualify any winner who cannot provide satisfactory identification within 30 days of notification. 20.23 Giveaway postponement. iFix Mildura reserves the right to postpone, suspend or cancel a monthly member giveaway in circumstances beyond its reasonable control including natural disasters, government action, pandemic, power outages or critical technical failures. iFix Mildura will notify affected members by email within 48 hours of any such decision. 20.24 Tax and financial advice. iFix Mildura makes no representation regarding any tax implications of receiving a prize. Prize winners are solely responsible for obtaining their own independent tax and financial advice. In Australia prize winnings are generally not subject to income tax however individual circumstances may vary. 20.25 Screen protector quality and installation. Screen protectors provided as part of membership entitlements are standard tempered glass protectors. iFix Mildura does not warrant that screen protectors will be compatible with all device cases or accessories. Screen protector installation is performed by iFix Mildura staff in store and is subject to device condition at time of fitting. iFix Mildura reserves the right to decline installation where device condition makes fitting unsuitable or unsafe. 20.26 Membership suspension and payment failure. If a membership payment fails iFix Mildura will make reasonable attempts to collect payment over an 8-day period. During this period the member will receive payment reminder emails. If payment is not received within 8 days the membership will be cancelled. Suspended memberships do not accrue complimentary promotional entries or entitlements during the suspension period. 20.27 Changes to membership benefits. iFix Mildura reserves the right to modify membership benefits, entitlement allocations, and monthly member giveaway structure at any time with 30 days notice to existing members. Continued use of the membership after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated benefits. 20.28 Governing law. The membership program is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from the membership program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia. 20.29 Complimentary promotional entries — important notice. Complimentary promotional entries into the monthly member giveaway are included as a bonus reward with all active iFix Mildura memberships. Entries are not sold, purchased, or available for direct acquisition. Members do not pay for entries. Entries are allocated automatically based on membership tier as a complimentary benefit of holding an active membership. The purchase of a membership is for the repair discounts, accessory entitlements, device registration, and other membership benefits described in these Terms. The monthly member giveaway and associated complimentary promotional entries are a bonus feature only and do not form part of the primary consideration for membership. 20.30 Digital consent and record keeping. By joining the iFix Mildura membership program you acknowledge that your acceptance of these Terms, your IP address, device information, and the date and time of your agreement are recorded electronically. This information may be used by iFix Mildura to verify your consent in the event of a dispute or chargeback claim. 20.31 Membership number required at time of purchase. Promotional entries for in-store purchases are awarded at the sole discretion of iFix Mildura staff and only where the member presents their iFix Mildura membership number or QR code at the time of the transaction. Entries cannot be applied retrospectively to past purchases. iFix Mildura accepts no obligation to award entries for transactions where the membership number was not presented at the time of service. Members are responsible for presenting their membership identification at each visit to ensure entries are recorded. 20.32 Entry rate subject to change. iFix Mildura reserves the right to change the promotional entry rate at any time without notice to members. 20.33 Minimum spend threshold. A minimum spend of $5 is required per transaction to earn promotional entries. Transactions below this threshold will not attract entries regardless of cumulative spend. 20.34 Refunds and promotional entries. In the event of a refund, promotional entries attributed to the refunded transaction will be adjusted or removed accordingly. If the monthly giveaway has already concluded for the period in which the entries were awarded, only yearly entries will be adjusted. 20.35 Staff discretion. iFix Mildura staff reserve the right to decline linking a transaction to a membership account if there is reasonable doubt about the validity of the claim. 20.36 One transaction one member. Each in-store transaction may only be linked to one membership account. Transactions cannot be split between multiple members. 20.37 Pre-owned device exclusion. Purchases of pre-owned or refurbished devices, whether in-store or online, are excluded from promotional entry calculations. This exclusion applies to ensure the fairness of the program for members who regularly visit iFix Mildura for repairs and accessory purchases. 20.38 Final amount calculation. Promotional entries are calculated on the final transaction amount as recorded by iFix Mildura's point-of-sale system, inclusive of any member discounts, promotional codes, or price reductions applied at the time of purchase. The pre-discount value of goods or services is not used for entry calculation purposes. 20.39 Agreement. By completing the membership signup process and ticking the required confirmation checkboxes you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
